Quick answer · What is Temple Fillers?

Temple fillers are hyaluronic acid injections that soften hollows at the sides of the forehead, between the eyebrow and hairline. Restoring this area smooths the outline from forehead to cheekbone and can make the face look less gaunt. The temple has important blood vessels, so careful deep or cannula technique is used. A session takes about 20–30 minutes, and results usually last 12–18 months.

How it works

Smoothing the upper-face outline

Temples hollow with age, weight loss or a naturally lean face, creating a dip that breaks the outline of the upper face. Your doctor places hyaluronic acid deep near the bone or by cannula in a safer layer to restore a smooth curve. Because the temple has important blood vessels, technique is chosen carefully, and HA filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed.

  1. Assessment & numbing

Your doctor assesses the hollow from the front and side and applies numbing cream.

  2. Careful placement

Filler is placed slowly in small amounts, deep near the bone or by cannula, with checks throughout.

  3. Smooth outline

The hollow looks softer straight away; mild swelling settles over a few days.

FAQ

Temple Fillers questions we hear every day

Do temple fillers hurt?

Most patients feel pressure and brief stinging. Numbing cream and lidocaine in the filler keep it comfortable.

Are temple fillers safe?

When performed by a trained doctor, most patients have only mild swelling or bruising. The temple has important blood vessels, so a rare but serious risk is filler entering a vessel; careful technique reduces this and HA filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.

How long do temple fillers last?

Results typically last about 12–18 months, as the filler is placed deep.

Is there downtime?

Mild swelling, tenderness or a tight feeling when chewing can last a few days. Most patients return to normal plans straight away.

Temple filler or Juvelook Volume?

HA filler gives immediate volume, while Juvelook Volume builds volume gradually through collagen and is popular for temples. Your doctor can advise which suits you.

How much do temple fillers cost in Myeongdong?

Price depends on the number of syringes needed. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our filler and botox price list.
