Quick answer · What is Facial Contouring Fillers?
Facial contouring fillers use hyaluronic acid in several areas, usually the chin, jawline, cheeks and temples, to balance proportions and refine face shape without surgery. Firm gels add structure, while softer gels smooth transitions. Treatment takes about 30–60 minutes depending on areas, with mild swelling for a few days, and results usually last 12–18 months.

How it works
Treating the face as a whole
Rather than treating one feature, your doctor looks at how the forehead, temples, cheeks, chin and jaw relate to each other. Small amounts of filler in several key points, sometimes with jaw botox, can create a smoother outline and better balance than a large amount in one area.
-
Proportion analysis
Your doctor assesses your face from the front and side and agrees priorities with you. Numbing cream is applied.
-
Multi-area injection
Filler is placed in small amounts in each planned area, with symmetry checked throughout.
-
Refined outline
The new contour is visible straight away and settles naturally over one to two weeks.
Before & after
A smoother, more balanced outline
Most patients notice a more harmonious face shape, with a defined chin and jaw and softer hollows, while still looking like themselves.

FAQ
Facial Contouring Fillers questions we hear every day
Which areas are included in facial contouring?
Commonly the chin, jawline, cheeks and temples, chosen to suit your proportions. Your doctor may suggest fewer areas if that gives a more natural result.
Do contouring fillers hurt?
Most patients feel pressure and brief stinging. Numbing cream, lidocaine in the filler and cannula technique keep it comfortable.
How long do the results last?
Results typically last 12–18 months, as most contouring filler is placed deep in low-movement areas.
Can I combine filler with botox?
Yes. Jaw botox slims a wide jaw from strong muscles, while filler adds definition to the chin and jaw line; the two are often combined.
Is there downtime?
Mild swelling, tenderness or small bruises may last a few days. Most patients return to normal plans the same day.
How much do facial contouring fillers cost in Myeongdong?
Price depends on the areas treated and the number of syringes. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our filler and botox price list.
