Quick answer · What is Salmon DNA Injection?

Salmon DNA injection is a skin booster using purified DNA fragments, polynucleotides (PN) or PDRN, extracted from salmon. Injected into the dermis, they support fibroblast activity and tissue repair, gradually improving texture, pores, fine scarring, hydration and elasticity. A session takes 30–45 minutes including numbing. Small bumps usually settle within a day, and most patients have 3–4 sessions about three weeks apart.

How it works

DNA fragments that help skin rebuild itself

Salmon-derived DNA is purified so that it is highly compatible with human tissue. Once injected, the fragments support the cells that make collagen and elastin and help calm inflammation. The effect is cumulative: each session builds on the last to improve density, texture and moisture.

  1. Consultation & numbing

Your doctor chooses the formulation for your skin, then numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes.

  2. Micro-injections

Small amounts are placed evenly across the face by hand or with an injector device, at a shallow dermal depth.

  3. Cumulative results

Bumps settle within about a day. Skin feels more hydrated within days, with texture and pores improving over the course.

FAQ

Salmon DNA Injection questions we hear every day

Is salmon DNA injection the same as Rejuran?

Rejuran is one well-known brand of salmon DNA (PN) booster. Salmon DNA injection is the broader term, covering PN and PDRN products; your doctor chooses the right one, such as Rejuran or PDRN, for your skin.

Does salmon DNA injection hurt?

Numbing cream keeps it tolerable for most patients, who feel brief pricking. Bony areas can feel a little sharper.

How many sessions do I need?

Three to four sessions about three weeks apart is a typical course. Maintenance every few months helps keep the result.

Is there downtime?

Small raised bumps at the injection points usually fade within about a day, and minor bruising is possible. Most patients wear makeup the next day.

Can I combine it with laser treatments?

Yes. It is often paired with toning or resurfacing lasers to support recovery. Your doctor plans the order and timing at consultation.

How much does salmon DNA injection cost in Myeongdong?

Price for salmon DNA injection depends on the product, area and number of sessions. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our skin booster price list.
