Quick answer · What is Hyaluronic Acid Fillers?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are injectable gels made from cross-linked hyaluronic acid, a sugar molecule found naturally in skin. They add volume, soften folds and shape features, and also attract water for a hydrated look. The body gradually breaks them down, and they can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Sessions take 15–45 minutes, with mild swelling for a few days, and results last about 6–18 months.

How it works
Cross-linked gel, matched to each area
Natural hyaluronic acid breaks down within days, so filler gels are cross-linked to last months. Different degrees of cross-linking create gels from soft and flexible, for lips and fine lines, to firm and lifting, for the chin and jawline. Because HA can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, it is the most widely used and adjustable filler type.

FAQ
Hyaluronic Acid Fillers questions we hear every day
Is hyaluronic acid filler safe?
HA has a long safety record when injected by trained doctors. Swelling and bruising are common; rare risks include lumps, infection or injection into a blood vessel, which is why technique and hyaluronidase on hand matter.
Can HA filler be dissolved?
Yes. An enzyme called hyaluronidase breaks down HA filler, usually within a day or two, if you want to reverse or adjust a result.
How long does HA filler last?
It depends on the product and area: around 6–12 months in mobile areas such as the lips, and 12–18 months or more in deeper areas such as the chin.
Which brands do you use?
The clinic uses established HA brands including Juvederm and Restylane, alongside other products chosen by area. Your doctor explains which product is used and why.
Does HA filler hurt?
Most patients feel pressure and brief stinging. Numbing cream and lidocaine in most HA fillers keep it comfortable.
How much do hyaluronic acid fillers cost in Myeongdong?
Price depends on the product, area and number of syringes. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our filler and botox price list.
