Quick answer · What is LDM Treatment?
LDM (Local Dynamic Micro-massage) is a non-invasive skin therapy that uses ultrasound rapidly alternating between two frequencies. The micro-vibration is thought to calm inflammation, improve hydration and support collagen and barrier repair without heating or wounding the skin. It is used for acne-prone, red or sensitive skin and after laser treatments. A session typically takes 15–30 minutes with no downtime, usually repeated over 4–8 sessions.

How it works
Ultrasound micro-massage instead of heat
Rather than relying on thermal injury like most lasers, LDM switches quickly between two ultrasound frequencies to create a gentle mechanical effect in the tissue. This is thought to reduce inflammatory activity, improve circulation and support the skin's own repair. Because there is no surface damage, it suits sensitive skin and recovery after other procedures.
-
Skin check
Your doctor reviews redness, breakouts and sensitivity, and sets the frequency and treatment areas.
-
Ultrasound session
A gel or serum is applied and the handpiece glides over the skin. Most people feel only gentle warmth or vibration.
-
Straight back out
There is no redness or peeling to wait out. Skin often feels calmer and more hydrated afterwards.
