Quick answer · What is Hand Rejuvenation?
Hand rejuvenation is a non-surgical treatment for ageing on the backs of the hands. It usually combines hyaluronic acid or collagen-stimulating filler to soften visible veins and tendons, skin boosters to improve crepey texture, and pigment laser for age spots. The plan is tailored to each patient. A session takes 30–45 minutes, with swelling or bruising for a few days, and filler results typically last around a year.
- Session
- 30–45 min
- Downtime
- Swelling or bruising 3–5 days
- Results
- Volume immediate; texture 2–4 weeks
- Repeat
- Filler about every 12 months
How it works
Volume, skin quality and tone, treated together
Hands age through loss of fat, thinning skin and sun damage, so one treatment rarely addresses everything. Filler placed beneath the skin cushions tendons and veins, boosters such as PDRN or Juvelook improve density, and pigment laser treats sun spots. Your doctor chooses the combination your hands need.
-
Assessment & plan
Your doctor examines volume loss, skin texture and pigmentation, then plans the combination. Numbing cream is applied.
-
Filler & boosters
Filler is spread under the skin of the back of the hand, usually with a cannula, followed by boosters where needed.
-
Laser & settling
Pigment laser can be added for spots. Volume shows straight away; texture and tone keep improving over two to four weeks.
Before & after
Fuller, smoother backs of the hands
Patients typically notice veins and tendons look less prominent and skin looks smoother, with age spots lighter after laser sessions.

FAQ
Hand Rejuvenation questions we hear every day
Does hand rejuvenation hurt?
Numbing cream is applied and most fillers contain local anaesthetic, so most patients feel pressure rather than pain. A cannula helps reduce bruising.
Which treatment will I get for my hands?
It depends on your concern: filler for volume loss, boosters for crepey skin and laser for spots. Many patients combine filler with pigmentation laser for a complete result.
How long do hand filler results last?
Hyaluronic acid filler in the hands typically lasts around 12 months, sometimes longer. Boosters and laser are usually done as short courses.
Is there downtime after hand rejuvenation?
Swelling and some bruising are common for three to five days. Avoid heavy lifting, hot baths and strenuous hand use for a couple of days.
Can I treat my hands and face on the same day?
Yes, as long as your doctor agrees the total treatment plan is safe. This suits patients with limited time in Seoul.
How much does hand rejuvenation cost in Myeongdong?
Price for hand rejuvenation depends on the products used and the number of sessions. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our filler and botox price list.
