How it works
Heat delivered beneath the surface, where collagen is made
Because the energy is released at the needle tips inside the dermis, RF microneedling can remodel scar tissue and tighten skin with less surface damage than an ablative laser. Your doctor sets needle depth and energy for each zone, shallower around the eyes and deeper over scars. Sylfirm X can also use a pulsed mode for redness and sensitive skin.

How many sessions do I need?
Most patients have around 3 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart. Deeper acne scars may need more, sometimes combined with other treatments.
What is the downtime?
Expect redness and slight swelling for 1 to 3 days, and sometimes tiny marks from the needles. Most people return to normal activities the next day.
