How it works
Relaxing the lip edge so it turns outwards
The muscle around the mouth pulls the upper lip in and up, which can make it look thin, especially when smiling. Small doses of botulinum toxin along the lip border relax this inward roll, so the lip sits slightly everted. No volume is added, so the result is a subtle change in lip shape.
