Quick answer · What is Under-Eye Fillers?
Under-eye fillers are injections of soft, low-swelling hyaluronic acid gel beneath the eyes to smooth hollows and the shadows they cast. They suit volume-related dark circles rather than pigmentation or large eye bags. Placement is usually by cannula. A session takes about 20–30 minutes, with mild swelling or bruising for a few days, and results usually last 9–12 months or longer.

How it works
Smoothing hollows that cast shadows
Many dark circles are shadows from a hollow between the lower eyelid and cheek. A soft, low-water-absorbing hyaluronic acid gel placed deep by cannula smooths this hollow so light reflects evenly. The under-eye area has delicate blood vessels, so careful technique, usually by cannula, is important. A rare but serious risk is filler entering a blood vessel; hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed.

Under-eye assessment
Your doctor checks whether your concern is hollowing, pigmentation or eye bags, then applies numbing cream.
-
Gentle cannula placement
Tiny amounts of soft filler are placed deep beneath the hollow through a small entry point, slowly and evenly.
-

FAQ
Under-Eye Fillers questions we hear every day
Do under-eye fillers hurt?
Numbing cream and a single cannula entry point keep most patients comfortable. You may feel pressure rather than sharp pain.
Will under-eye filler fix my dark circles?
It helps when shadows come from hollowing. Pigmented or thin-skinned dark circles often respond better to other options; see our dark circle treatment page.
Is under-eye filler safe?
When performed by a trained doctor with careful technique, most patients have only mild swelling or bruising. A rare but serious risk is filler entering a blood vessel, and hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed.
How long does under-eye filler last?
Results typically last about 9–12 months and sometimes longer, as the area moves relatively little.
Is there downtime?
Mild swelling or bruising may last a few days. Avoid rubbing your eyes, saunas and alcohol for 24–48 hours.
How much do under-eye fillers cost in Myeongdong?
Price depends on the product and amount used. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our filler and botox price list.
