How it works
Different gels for different jobs
Juvederm products are made with Hylacross or Vycross cross-linking technology, which produces smooth, cohesive gels of different firmness. Your doctor picks the product to match the area: firmer gels to lift and project, softer gels for the lips and fine lines. As with all HA fillers, Juvederm can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.

Is the Juvederm you use genuine?
The clinic uses genuine Juvederm products. You are welcome to ask to see the packaging and product details before treatment.
How long does Juvederm last?
It depends on the product and area. Lip products typically last around 9–12 months, while firmer products such as Voluma in the cheeks may last up to around 18–24 months.
Does Juvederm hurt?
Most Juvederm products contain lidocaine, and numbing cream is applied first, so most patients feel pressure and brief stinging.
Juvederm or Restylane?
Both are established hyaluronic acid ranges with gels for different areas. Restylane uses different gel technology; your doctor chooses the product based on the area and look you want.
Can Juvederm be dissolved?
Yes. Like other hyaluronic acid fillers, Juvederm can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed.
