Quick answer · What is Jawline Lifting?

Jawline lifting is a non-surgical treatment for jowls and a soft lower-face outline. Focused ultrasound (HIFU, such as Shurink Universe or Ultherapy) heats the SMAS layer to lift, while radiofrequency tightens the skin above it; jaw botox may be added for a wide masseter. A session takes about 30–60 minutes with little downtime, and the lift builds over two to three months.

How it works

Lift from the support layer, tighten at the surface

Jowls form when the deeper support tissue and skin loosen and slide downwards. Focused ultrasound places heat points in the SMAS layer to contract and lift it, while radiofrequency firms the dermis. Where muscle bulk or fat is part of the problem, your doctor may add botox or fat reduction for a cleaner line.

  1. Contour analysis

Your doctor looks at jowls, skin laxity, fat and jaw muscle, then plans devices, depths and shot counts.

  2. Lifting energy

Ultrasound lines are placed along the jaw and cheek, followed by RF if planned. You feel brief deep heat.

  3. Lift develops

Some tightening shows straight away; the main lift builds over 8–12 weeks as new collagen forms.

FAQ

Jawline Lifting questions we hear every day

Does jawline lifting hurt?

Ultrasound can feel like short, deep heat pulses, strongest over the jawbone. Numbing cream is applied and the energy is adjusted to keep it tolerable.

When will I see results?

Some tightening may be visible the same day. The main lift develops over two to three months as collagen rebuilds.

How long do results last?

Results typically last six to twelve months or longer, depending on the device, your age and skin quality. Many patients repeat once or twice a year.

Is there downtime?

Little to none. Mild swelling or tenderness along the jaw can last a few days, and makeup can usually be worn the same day.

Can I combine it with jaw botox?

Yes. If a strong masseter muscle widens the lower face, jaw botox can slim it while lifting tightens the skin. Your doctor plans the order at consultation.

How much does jawline lifting cost in Myeongdong?

Price depends on the device and the number of shots used. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our lifting price list.
