Quick answer · What is Neck Lifting?

Neck lifting is a non-surgical treatment for loose, crepey neck skin and horizontal necklace lines. Focused ultrasound (HIFU) heats the deeper support tissue to lift, and radiofrequency such as Thermage FLX tightens the thin dermis, both at settings adapted to the neck. A session takes about 30–60 minutes with little downtime, and results build over two to six months as new collagen forms.

How it works

Gentler settings for thinner skin

Neck skin is thinner than facial skin, so energy and depth are chosen carefully. Ultrasound lifts the tissue beneath the jaw and along the neck, while radiofrequency tightens and smooths the skin itself. Together they help redefine the angle between jaw and neck and soften fine lines.

  1. Neck assessment

Your doctor checks laxity, skin thickness and neck lines, then plans devices and energy settings.

  2. Tightening energy

Ultrasound and radiofrequency are applied across the neck and under the jaw. You feel brief warmth and tingling.

  3. Firming builds

Skin can feel tighter the same day, with the main firming developing over the next few months.

FAQ

Neck Lifting questions we hear every day

Does neck lifting hurt?

Most patients feel short pulses of warmth. The neck is treated with adapted settings, numbing cream is available and energy is adjusted to your comfort.

Can it improve neck lines?

Energy treatments can soften fine horizontal lines by firming the skin. Deeper lines may also benefit from a skin booster, and your doctor can suggest a combination.

When will I see results?

Skin may feel tighter straight away; visible firming builds over two to six months.

Is there downtime?

Usually very little. Mild redness or tenderness can last hours to a few days, and you can go out the same day.

Should I treat my jawline at the same time?

Often, yes. Treating the neck together with the jawline gives a more continuous result. Your doctor will advise at consultation.

How much does neck lifting cost in Myeongdong?

Price depends on the devices used and the number of shots. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our lifting price list.
