Quick answer · What is Rosacea?
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes persistent facial redness, flushing, visible fine vessels and sometimes acne-like bumps. It is linked to reactive blood vessels, a weak skin barrier and triggers such as heat, sun and alcohol. It cannot be cured, but it can be controlled. At RE:BERRY, gentle Genesis toning and LDM calm redness, with 15–30 minute sessions, little downtime and a course of several sessions.
- Typical plan
- Gentle laser every 2–4 weeks
- Session
- 15–30 min
- Downtime

- Results
- Gradual over 4–6 sessions
How it works
Calming vessels and rebuilding the barrier
Rosacea redness comes from dilated, overreactive vessels and inflammation in a fragile skin barrier. Low-energy Genesis toning gently heats the vessels to reduce background redness, while LDM ultrasound and repair boosters such as Rejuran help calm and strengthen the skin. Trigger avoidance and, where needed, prescription creams or tablets keep flares under control.
-
Diagnosis
Your doctor confirms rosacea type and severity, identifies triggers and checks whether prescription care is needed alongside treatment.
-
Gentle treatment
Low-energy laser, LDM or a repair booster is applied at settings chosen for sensitive, reactive skin.
-
Maintenance
Redness reduces gradually over a course; occasional maintenance and daily sun protection help keep flares down.
Before & after
Less background redness and fewer flares
Most patients notice a calmer, more even skin tone and less frequent flushing over a course. Rosacea can still flare with triggers, so maintenance is usually needed.

FAQ
Rosacea questions we hear every day
Can rosacea be cured permanently?
No. Rosacea is a chronic condition, but redness and flushing can usually be well controlled with treatment, trigger avoidance and good skincare. Maintenance sessions help keep it calm.
Which treatment is best for rosacea?
For background redness, gentle Genesis toning is often a good first choice, sometimes combined with LDM or repair boosters. Inflammatory bumps may also need prescription creams or tablets from a doctor.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients have four to six sessions two to four weeks apart, then occasional maintenance. The number depends on how red and reactive your skin is.
Is there downtime after rosacea treatment?
Usually very little. Mild pinkness or warmth typically settles within a few hours, and you can apply gentle skincare the same day.
Can I fly home or sightsee after treatment?
Yes. Most patients sightsee straight away and can fly the next day. Avoid saunas, hot baths, alcohol and strong sun for a day or two.
How much does rosacea treatment cost in Myeongdong?
Price depends on the method, area and number of sessions. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our pico toning and acne price list.
