Quick answer · What is Immune Boost IV?
An immune boost IV is an infusion of fluids with vitamin C, zinc and other minerals, given through a small cannula over 40–60 minutes. These nutrients play a role in normal immune function, and the drip also rehydrates. However, evidence that IV vitamins prevent or shorten colds in healthy people is limited. A doctor screens you first, there is no downtime and it does not replace medical treatment.

How it works
Nutrients your immune system uses, delivered directly
Vitamin C and zinc are involved in normal immune cell function, and low levels can make people more vulnerable to infection. An IV raises blood levels quickly and adds fluids. What it cannot do is guarantee you will not catch a cold, so we treat it as supportive care, not prevention.
-
Health check
A doctor asks about current symptoms, medicines and allergies; a fever or serious illness needs proper medical care instead.
-
Infusion
A fine cannula is placed in your arm and the drip runs over 40–60 minutes in a private room.
-
Aftercare
The cannula is removed and you can continue your day; rest and fluids are still advised if you feel unwell.

Rest and rehydration in a private room
An immune drip has no visible before and after. Patients mainly value the chance to rest, rehydrate and speak with a doctor about how they are feeling.
A good fit if you…
- Feel tired and run-down after flights or a packed itinerary
- Have eaten poorly while travelling
- Want a doctor to check how you are feeling in English
- Understand the drip is supportive and not a treatment for infection
Talk to your doctor first if you…
- Have G6PD deficiency (high-dose vitamin C can cause red blood cell breakdown)
- Have kidney disease, kidney stones, a heart condition or have been told to limit fluids
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have a high fever, breathing difficulty or a serious infection (seek urgent care instead)

FAQ
Immune Boost IV questions we hear every day
Will an immune IV stop me getting sick?
No drip can guarantee that. Vitamin C and zinc support normal immune function, but studies in healthy people show limited or inconsistent benefit, so think of it as supportive care alongside sleep, fluids and food.
Can I have it if I already have a cold?
Mild symptoms may be fine after a doctor's check, and the fluids can help you feel more comfortable. A high fever or breathing problems need medical treatment instead.
Does it hurt?
There is a brief pinch as the cannula goes in and sometimes a cool feeling in the arm. Most people relax or nap during the drip.
What is in the immune drip?
Usually vitamin C, zinc and other minerals in a fluid base, sometimes with B vitamins. High-dose vitamin C is only given after checking it is safe for you, including G6PD status where relevant.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes, it is often combined with a vitamin IV drip formula or skin treatments on the same day. Your doctor plans a safe overall dose.
How much does an immune boost IV cost in Myeongdong?
Pricing depends on the drip formula and any add-ins, and on whether you book a single session or a course. The same price list applies to every nationality and you receive it in writing before treatment. See our price list.
