How it works
Shattering surface pigment
Freckles contain extra melanin in the upper skin layer. Short laser pulses are absorbed by that pigment and break it into tiny fragments, which the skin sheds or clears naturally. Because sun exposure stimulates new freckles, protection after treatment is as important as the laser itself.
