How it works
Light that targets the pigment, not the skin around it
Each laser wavelength is chosen so that it is absorbed mainly by the concentrated melanin in a sun spot. Pico and Q-switched lasers use very short pulses to shatter pigment with minimal heat, while IPL suits many lighter, superficial spots at once. The fragmented pigment is gradually cleared by the body or flakes off with the surface skin.

How many sessions will I need?

Is there downtime after sun spot laser?

Is a sun spot the same as melasma?
No. Sun spots are well-defined brown patches, while melasma is a hormonal, diffuse pigmentation that can worsen with strong lasers. For melasma, gentle laser toning is usually preferred.
