Quick answer · What is Detox IV Drip?

A detox IV drip is an infusion of fluids, B vitamins and antioxidants such as glutathione or alpha-lipoic acid, given over 30–60 minutes. Your liver and kidneys already clear waste and toxins, and there is little evidence that a drip improves this in healthy people. What it can do is rehydrate and top up nutrients. A doctor screens you first, and there is no downtime.

How it works

Your liver does the detox; the drip supports hydration

The liver and kidneys continuously process and remove waste, and good hydration helps them work normally. A detox drip adds fluids, B vitamins and antioxidants, which can help if you are dehydrated or run-down. Claims that drips flush out toxins, cause weight loss or clear skin are not supported by good evidence.

  1. Consultation

A doctor reviews your health, medicines and kidney or liver history and explains what the drip can realistically do.

  2. Infusion

Fluids and antioxidants run through a fine cannula in your arm over 30–60 minutes.

  3. Afterwards

The cannula is removed; keep drinking water and eat well to support your body's own processes.

FAQ

Detox IV Drip questions we hear every day

Does a detox drip remove toxins?

Your liver and kidneys already do this. There is little evidence that a drip speeds it up, but the fluids and nutrients can help if you are dehydrated or depleted.

Will it help me lose weight?

No. A detox drip is not a weight-loss treatment, and any drop on the scale is usually fluid.

What is in it?

Typically fluids, B vitamins and an antioxidant such as glutathione or alpha-lipoic acid. Vitamin C may be added after screening for G6PD deficiency and kidney problems.

Does it hurt?

There is a brief pinch from the cannula, then usually just a cool feeling. Most people rest throughout.

Is it similar to a glutathione drip?

Partly. A glutathione IV focuses on one antioxidant, while a detox drip usually combines fluids, vitamins and antioxidants.

How much does a detox IV drip cost in Myeongdong?

Pricing depends on the drip formula and any add-ins, and on whether you book a single session or a course. The same price list applies to every nationality and you receive it in writing before treatment. See our price list.
