Quick answer · How should travellers plan skin treatment in Seoul?
Book early in your trip, not the day before you fly, so the doctor can see your skin and you have time to recover. Low-downtime options such as laser toning, skin boosters, HIFU or Botox suit most travel schedules, while CO2 laser or thread lifts need several quiet days. After any laser, sunscreen and shade are essential. At RE:BERRY Myeongdong, the free doctor consultation matches treatments to your remaining days.

Planning your visit
Match the downtime to the days you have left
Each treatment has a typical recovery pattern, from none at all to several days of redness, small scabs or swelling. Tell the doctor your departure date and any events, and the plan is chosen so that visible healing is over before you fly or photograph.
-
Share your dates
Send your arrival and departure dates when booking so the doctor can plan with the days you actually have.
-
Choose by downtime
At consultation you compare options by recovery, from same-day-return treatments to those needing a quiet few days.
-
Protect and follow up
Use the written aftercare, protect treated skin from sun, and send questions by WhatsApp after you return home.
Inside the clinic
Back to sightseeing the same afternoon
Most low-downtime treatments take under an hour in a private room, and you can usually return to shopping or sightseeing straight after with sunscreen on.
Ideal if you…
- Are in Seoul for a few days and want to treat early
- Prefer treatments with little or no visible recovery
- Want written aftercare you can follow at home
- Like to ask follow-up questions by WhatsApp after you leave
Good to know before you visit
- Avoid stronger lasers right before a beach or ski trip
- Flights and dry cabin air can make fresh treatment feel tight
- Some procedures need a course of visits, not one session
- Peak travel seasons can limit last-minute availability

FAQ
Skin Clinic for Travellers questions we hear every day
How many days before my flight should I have treatment?
For no-downtime treatments such as laser toning or Botox, a day or two is usually enough. For treatments with redness, small scabs or swelling, the doctor may advise several days to a week, so earlier in your trip is better.
Can I fly straight after a skin treatment?
Most low-downtime treatments do not stop you flying. Keep the skin moisturised on board, avoid touching injected areas, and follow the written aftercare.
Which treatments have the least downtime?
Laser toning, Hydrafacial, many skin boosters, HIFU and Botox usually allow you to go straight back out. The free doctor consultation confirms what suits your skin.
Do I really need sunscreen after laser?
Yes. Treated skin is more sensitive to sun for a while, and sun exposure can cause darkening. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen, reapply outdoors, and wear a hat in strong sun.
What if I have a question after I go home?
You receive written aftercare, and the clinic follows up by WhatsApp, so you can send a photo or question from home.
Is the price different for foreign patients?
Pricing depends on the treatment, the area and the number of sessions, so there is no single figure. The same price list applies to every nationality, and your quote is given in writing before any treatment. See the full price list.
