Quick answer · What is Dehydrated Skin?
Dehydrated skin is a temporary condition in which the skin lacks water, causing tightness, dullness and fine crisscross lines. It can affect any skin type, including oily skin, and usually reflects a weakened barrier, harsh products, dry air or travel. At RE:BERRY it is treated with hyaluronic acid boosters such as Skinvive, repair boosters such as Rejuran or a HydraFacial. Sessions take 20–40 minutes, with small bumps for one to three days at most.
- Typical plan
- Booster course of 2–3 sessions
- Session
- 20–40 min
- Downtime
- None to small bumps 1–3 days
- Results
- Visible in 1–4 weeks
How it works
Putting water back into the skin and keeping it there
When the skin barrier is weak, water escapes faster than it is replaced, leaving the skin tight and dull. Non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid boosters bind water within the dermis, polynucleotide boosters support repair, and a HydraFacial cleanses and infuses hydration on the surface. Gentle home care then helps the barrier hold moisture.
-
Skin assessment
Your doctor checks hydration, oiliness and barrier health, and separates dehydration from a dry skin type or eczema.
-
Hydrating treatment
A hydrating or repair booster is micro-injected after numbing, or a HydraFacial is performed if you prefer no needles.
-
Barrier maintenance
You receive written skincare advice, and boosters are repeated as a short course for longer-lasting hydration.

FAQ
Dehydrated Skin questions we hear every day
What is the difference between dry and dehydrated skin?
Dry skin is a skin type that produces little oil, while dehydrated skin lacks water and can happen to anyone, even oily skin. Dehydration usually improves with barrier care and hydration treatment.
Which treatment is best for dehydrated skin?
Hyaluronic acid boosters such as Skinvive suit most people. Rejuran is helpful when the skin is also thin or damaged, and a HydraFacial is a good needle-free option.
How many sessions do I need?
One session already helps, but boosters work best as a course of two to three sessions two to four weeks apart, with maintenance a few times a year.
Is there downtime?
A HydraFacial has none. Boosters may leave small bumps or redness for one to three days, and small bruises are possible.
Can I fly home after a skin booster?
Yes, usually the next day. Drink water, use a rich moisturiser on the plane and avoid saunas and alcohol for a day.
How much does dehydrated skin treatment cost in Myeongdong?
Price depends on the product, area and number of sessions. The same price list applies to every nationality and is given to you in writing before treatment. See our Rejuran and skin booster price list.
